On Tuesday 27th of July, Cunards Queen Victoria paid her maiden voyage to the Port of Belfast . The 90,000 ton vessel carrying 2000 passengers and 1250 crew berthed at the Stormont dock at 8.00 am . Invited on-board this 5-star liner were many dignitaries of Belfast City, amongst the invited travel agents and guests were White Star Momentos. Titanic in Colour
It can be quite hard to imagine how Captain Smith, the Titanic and the White Star Line ships actually looked like as only black and white photograpy was available in those days, however with the invention of C.G.I. we have been able to put together a small gallery of you some photographs in full colour.
All photos are shown by kind permission of the c.g.i. artist.
